Refunds & Cancellations Policy

At SMART ETHNIC, we take immense pride in crafting bespoke outfits that are tailored to perfection, reflecting individual preferences, style, and precise measurements. Each piece is designed with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that our customers receive a unique and personalised creation. Due to the highly customised nature of our designs, we follow specific policies for cancellations and refunds.

CANCELLATION POLICY

You may cancel your order within 24 hours of placing it. To cancel, you can email us at [email protected] and we will initiate your order cancellation and 100% of your order value will be refunded back to you.

No cancellation requests can be entertained for products on sale.

IMPORTANT CANCELLATION RESTRICTIONS

  • None of the orders can be cancelled after 24 hours of placing the order.
  • Once an order is placed and production begins, we are unable to accommodate cancellations, exchanges, or modifications, as each outfit is exclusively made-to-order and crafted specifically for the customer.
  • We strongly encourage our clients to carefully review their measurements, design choices, fabric selections, and all order details before finalizing their purchase.

  • Include your order number and reason for cancellation
  • We will process your cancellation and initiate refund within 5-7 business days

OUT OF STOCK ITEMS

If the ordered item is out of stock, customer has the option to get a refund or choose another product by paying the difference.

RETURN & REFUND POLICY

Due to the highly customised nature of our designs, we follow a strict return and refund policy.

Products, once sold, cannot be returned, exchanged or refunded unless:

  • a) Wrong product is delivered by mistake
  • b) Product has any serious manufacturing defect.

No returns/refunds shall be entertained on "stitched & customized products or if the customer has submitted wrong size" or if any product has slight color and design variation.

In such cases, the products must be returned unused and in original packaging to be eligible for refund or replacement. Used or altered products will not be refunded or replaced under any circumstances. Cost of shipping back the products to our place, has to be paid by the customer and SMART ETHNIC is under no condition liable for this cost. The shipping cost would also not be refunded, in any case.

  1. If the ordered item is out of stock, customer has the option to get a refund or choose another product by paying the difference. None of the orders can be cancelled after 24 hrs. of placing the order.
  2. Any discrepancy should be reported by email to SMART ETHNIC within 48 hrs of receipt of order. But, the final decision would be with SMART ETHNIC. There would be no refunds and no returns would be accepted, after 48 hrs.
  3. Once an order is placed and production begins, we are unable to accommodate cancellations, exchanges, or modifications, as each outfit is exclusively made-to-order and crafted specifically for the customer. We strongly encourage our clients to carefully review their measurements, design choices, fabric selections, and all order details before finalising their purchase. Our team is always available to provide guidance and answer any queries to ensure that you make informed decisions. We appreciate your understanding and support as we continue to deliver handcrafted luxury that is designed just for you.

ADDITIONAL REFUND DETAILS

If you would like to return any product to get a refund, send us an email on [email protected] and mention the order details and reason for product return and refund request. In case of any damage to the product, send us a picture.

All our products are 100% handmade. Kindly ignore the minor inconsistencies that may or may not occur.

  • Returns/Refunds/Exchanges can be done within 7 days of the product received (Within India Only)
  • International (Outside India) Returns/Customs/Duties if any, to be borne by the customer
  • We shall not be held responsible for any damage/loss done by the transporter/logistics at the time of returns
  • Since we provide free one way shipping. In case of a return shipping is to be borne by the customer or reverse pick up if to be arranged. Charges borne may or may not be refundable as per the reason for return.
  • We will process the refund after receipt of the product (applicable once the product is returned intact and unused).
